Murder That Mansion

THE MANSION IS...ALIVE!? FIGHT YOUR WAY THROUGH HOUSEHOLD OBJECTS WHO WANT YOU DEAD TO SAVE A RICH GUY TRAPPED IN  HIS OWN HOME! CAN YOU BEAT THIS ANNOYINGLY DIFFICULT MANSION?

The premise: 

Murder That Mansion is a rogue-like 2d platformer where you traverse a mansion filled with hostile objects like TV's, Lamps, and Dishwashers that have come to life! Can you save the residents and beat the mansion? 

The hook: 

 There's no health, but there is stamina! Everything you do (attacking, running, jumping) drains your stamina bar. You'll have to balance fighting and fleeing in order to preserve your strength! Once you're out of stamina, its game over! Getting hit by enemies or stage hazards will also drain your stamina, so watch out. Opening chests swaps your weapon but you gain back stamina. Mastering your stamina management is key to survival!

Controls: 

Arrow Keys to move, E to interact and talk with NPCs, X to attack, and esc to pause. Use the mouse to interact with UI. 

About Us:

This is the first game we've developed at the Huron Video Game Development Club. Although it may not have all the features we initially intended, we're excited to have this completed project up and running. Have patience with glitches, we'll be sure to solve them if you bring them up!

Installation:

Download the ZIP for your respective OS (Win or Mac), run GAME.exe and you should be all set!
